10/10 recommend and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I cannot say enough good things about our Koru K9 trainer, Katelyn. I was at my wit’s end with my girl Harley’s behavioral issues and reactivity. Harley had gotten so bad that I thought I was going to have to give her up, and the thought broke my heart. The 6-week program was my last hope at being able to keep my girl because we were both absolutely miserable. Katelyn was a life saver in so many ways. She agreed to take Harley in last minute for six weeks over the holidays. She also sent me update videos and texts while my baby was in her care. The real magic was when I received Harley post training. Katelyn did WONDERS with my girl. She returned me a brand new dog and taught me how to continue implementing all of the same training that she applied. I also am able to text her with questions any time I need support which is great. Harley’s now a well-behaved girl that heels, sits/lays on command, stays on her place until released, no longer freaks out in her kennel, and *most importantly* is no longer as reactive! This dog would lose her mind at any stranger, even friends sometimes, and now she is mostly unfazed. With time and effort on my part to keep instilling what Katelyn taught, I have no doubt that Harley will become a perfect good girl. The difference in Harley’s behavior and demeanor after just 6 weeks still blows my mind, and I am so grateful to Katelyn and her partner for taking Harley in and changing both of our lives for the better.
